Meet Jewels Gray
I’m Jewels and I have been a wedding photographer in Denver since 2006. I have photographed my couples all over downtown in gorgeous locations for their engagement sessions and their weddings. Some of my favorite locations are down by the City & County building at the Civic Center Park, the RiNo Art District, and around Union Station. The Front Range has a plethora of beautiful venues including Red Rocks, Lyons, Littleton, Roxborough Park, and everything between Louisville and Berthoud.
I have photographed weddings all over Colorado including Aspen, Telluride, Gateway, Colorado Springs, Estes Park, and even the top of the Rocky Mountains in Vail.
Spending the happiest days of my client’s lives with them, surrounded by their best friends and family, in amazing locations is such a gift. It’s usually the only event when everyone they love is in the same place, and they’re celebrating THEM. To get to spend my life documenting that and sharing in that is something I am eternally grateful for when chosen.
I am also a destination wedding photographer
and have been blessed to photograph weddings from Northern California to the Caribbean, Mexico & Costa Rica, and all the way to Italy. Had I known that camera would have taken me around the world, I would have become a photographer much sooner in life.
Locations on my bucket list include Paris and anywhere in France, Morocco, Germany, and anywhere warm when it’s cold in Colorado.
I became a luxury wedding photographer
because I was obsessed with fashion photography. The drama – the lighting – the poses – everything! I would spend hours dissecting images in the pages of Vogue and Vanity Fair. I always looked forward to the portraits of celebrities in glamourous gowns and all the designer editorials.
Weddings are the most beautiful opportunity to blend fashion with emotion, which makes them the perfect recipe for a romantic like me – I love Love. I get to see things that others might not, like catching sweet little moments and gestures between you. I love the traditions and heirlooms that give it meaning. I love to see it all come together in your album as the story of your celebration and that connection.

- Seeing smiles on the faces of my kids
- Enjoying a nice dinner anywhere in Italy
- Wrinkles and grunts from my English Bulldog, Rambo

- Sun on my skin with toes in the sand and a pina colada in my hand
- Belly laughing with my best friends
- Riding my Indian motorcycle down a curvy road on a warm summer day
