Dan and Neal’s fall wedding at The Broadmoor was perfect.
We started the weekend with their welcome party which was held on Halloween. They hosted the best Halloween party and their guests went all out with their costumes!
The next day was unseasonably warm for November First and it was absolutely beautiful! They got ready together in their suite and we were able to take advantage of the impeccable decor and grounds of this historic property. Moving up to the Cheyenne Mountain Lodge for the ceremony and reception, guests were welcomed with champagne as they disembarked from the shuttle. Everyone was dressed to the nines. The roaring fire and welcoming deck created the perfect pre-ceremony cocktail hour where guests could mingle and have hors d’oeuvres.
The ceremony at sunset was so heartfelt, personal, and deeply moving. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they read their vows to each other was heartwarming. As they were pronounced Husband & Husband, they kissed to the deafening sound of cheers!
Guests celebrated and lounged as torches were lit and the string quartet played.
The reception decor was spectacular – full of fall textures, colors, and even antlers! Chuck and Abe from Hutson Floral Design knocked it out of the park and exceeded expectations all weekend!
Mannequin by Elan Entertainment kept the dancefloor packed for hours as they sang and danced the night away…
Throughout the entire planning process, Dan + Neal were super chill and easy-going, and Angie from Sapphire Celebrations and I were in amazement at how easy they were to work with. She was a blessing on the day-of, helping with cufflinks, walking with us during the portrait session and even showing us a couple of her favorite locations on property. She’s my favorite to work with (and might be considered by some to be the Queen of The Broadmoor).
